Where we are

The centre is on Denman Parade, a short walk from Normanhurst Station and the Normanhurst shops. Most of our families live in Normanhurst itself or in the surrounding suburbs of Wahroonga, Hornsby, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and Waitara. There's parking on Denman Parade outside the centre, and the train to the city is direct.

What's included in the daily fee

All meals (breakfast, morning tea, hot cooked lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack), cooked on site by Dianne, the centre cook. The education program. Sunscreen. A bucket hat. For the Possum and Koala rooms, disposable nappies and baby formula are also included. You bring a change of clothes, a comforter if your child uses one, and a labelled water bottle.

Child Care Subsidy

We're a CCS-approved service. Most families with children in care receive some level of subsidy. The actual gap fee, what you pay out of pocket each week, depends on your combined family income, your activity level, and the number of days. Use the CCS gap-fee calculator on the homepage to get a rough estimate, or we'll walk through your specific situation on a tour.

From 5 January 2026, the new 3-Day Guarantee means every CCS-eligible family gets at least 72 hours of subsidised care per fortnight, regardless of work or study activity. That covers three days a week for most families.

Our 3 rooms
