A selection of policies and procedures from Normanhurst Child Care Centre. The full policy set is available on request to families and staff. We follow all NSW and Commonwealth requirements for an approved early childhood education and care service.

Sleep and rest procedures

How sleep works across our 3 rooms, from individual baby routines in the Possum Room to quiet rest for the older preschoolers in the Emu Room.

How educators support children to manage emotions, build relationships, and learn the skills of being together.

Food

What we feed them

Every meal cooked on site by our centre cook, fresh daily, on a 4-week rotating menu. Allergies and dietary needs catered directly in the kitchen.
